After a few requests from participating teams we have decided to increase the traffic the participating teams receive. We are rolling out the changes this week, so by the end of the week every team should receive around 7000 recommendations requests every day.

Remember, these are live requests from actual users on an actual website, so our admins only let us do this in return for the promise of delivering even better recommendations even faster. We are counting on you to deliver on that promise!

We will also be reducing the maximum response time to 200ms. So make sure your server is up to the task!

Since we started the contest a few weeks ago, we have had a small number of sign-ups from teams from all over. This week we are proud to announce the first winner of our weekly prize! It's team carlos22! They win the first 100 € of our contest.

We have further had a small number of technical issues with the server that lead to some results not being recorded last week. We apologize for these failures and promise to increase our efforts to ensure stable systems.

The contest is open for everyone, please don't hesitate to take a look at our wiki. The example implementations found there allow for a very easy start. We look forward to seeing more participants on board soon!

After a development period of a couple months and extensive beta testing, today is the day the contest goes live! Registration is now opened for teams from all over the world and we will be activating the first teams on Monday morning.

We have opened access to the wiki for everyone, so go ahead and take a look at the technical aspects, if you're unsure whether you will be able to compete in the contest. It's all quite simple, really. If any questions arise, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Today we are proud to announce the official start of the beta test! Two brave teams, composed of the finest of plista's developers, are going to battle it out over who can come up with the best performing solution. Give it up for: Team Clickabilly and team Elefanten!

This web page is very close to being done, there are a couple of modules left to install, a few permissions to assign, little things. I am currently writing the documentation, especially the API documentation, and am compiling an example installation of how to implement the API in PHP.
